Together, building roads towards rural development

At Wakate, we believe that rural development is built through concrete actions that have a positive impact on the community. That is why, together with the GreenLand Foundation, we are an active part of the road improvement project in the rural area of the municipality of Neira, Caldas.

Thanks to an agreement between Wakate,  the GreenLand Foundation, the Mayor’s Office of Neira and the community of Pan de Azúcar, we completed the construction of 60 meters of footpaths on the road leading from Trocaderos to Pan de Azúcar , a project that also benefits other villages such as Las Peñas, Cardal, Cardalito, Felicia and part of the rural sector of the municipality of Aranzazu.

As a private company, we played our part in making this project possible. Today, its impact benefits students, producers, farming families and all those who travel daily through the territory. This road not only improves access, it also reduces travel times and facilitates connection with essential services such as health, education and agricultural commercialization.

At Wakate, working hand in hand with the GreenLand Foundation, we reaffirm our commitment to the territory, contributing to projects that transform lives and strengthen the road infrastructure of the countryside in a collaborative and sustainable manner.
