It is our duty to take care of the land, a natural environment of water, fauna and flora, which we protect with determination. We promote, by conviction, the conservation and reforestation of our forests. We develop our agricultural activity focusing on the protection of environmental resources. Additionally, the growing of avocado trees has the virtue of reducing greenhouse gases.
We promote the breeding and subsequent release of biological controllers, to reduce the spread of pests and diseases in our crops. This practice allows the reduction of agrochemical use, generating a positive impact on the environment.
Our approach to preserving nature is closely linked to the protection and conservation of biodiversity.
We understand the importance of sustaining ecosystems. For this reason we identified the native species of the area (Oak, Black Cedar, Mountain Cedar, Guayacán, Drago, Camargo, among others) and increased by 22.5% (143 extra hectares) the area that was designated for conservation. We have conducted reforestation programs in areas of water sources, riverbeds and biological corridors.
We organized 8 planting campaigns, in which 1,480 trees were planted, with the participation of the communities surrounding the project.
We protect and conserve the different species and their habitats in the area. We conduct the mapping of reserve areas, the identification of the biodiversity of the existing fauna and we establish ecological connectivity corridors and areas for the release of wildlife.
