Sustainable costumes and fun in Neira and Aranzazu were in the air with the Wakate children’s celebration and our GreenLand- FGL Foundation

Wakate, hand in hand with the GreenLand – FGL Foundation, celebrated Children’s Day with recreational activities, contests, and animations in the rural area of Neira and Aranzazu. The children were accompanied by their families sent their imaginations flying and created costumes using recyclable materials.

Inhabitants in the localities of Trocaderos, Hoyo Frío, Pan de Azúcar, Las Peñas, and El Cardal in Neira came on Saturday October 22, while the localities of Muelas, Buenos Aires and Camelias in Aranzazu had their day last Sunday October 23.

During this event, the participants shared a time to strengthen their family and community ties. There were 130 children and adult participants, and prizes were given to the 5 most creative costumes. In Aranzazu there were 40 participants and 5 costumes received prizes.

Wakate, together with the GreenLand – FGL Foundation remain committed to the well-being of the communities and, at the same time, promote the preservation of the environment to grow sustainable fruits.
